EI in AI

AI is constantly working to read human minds to give us suggestions and recommendations. The ads in the facebook and google we receive depending on the moods, depending on our talks and what not is all about how dedicately they are working towards reading human minds. And they are also not behind on reading the emotions and feelings of humans behind any situation. Different softwares are available now to read our emotions. But what if they understand that emotions are that one thing which cannot be read precisely. The data they are collecting on the emotional behaviour of the individuals is not about the person related to whom the data has been collected. It is related to the person who is collecting that data. Depending on the facial expressions of the person we tend to predict and guess what a person might be feeling and those predictions are nothing more than the experiences which the person recording the data has gone through. It has nothing to do with the person whose facial expressions and emotions are being read. So one place where AI cannot be accurate is predicting the human emotions. So the connection and sync of energies between the client and coach is the one thing which cannot be replaced by AI.

On the same grounds if Emotions are just predictions and guesses, then imagine if we change the ingredients of these predictions, the emotions can also change. So are we at the mercy of these emotions or are we the master of them. Different emotions making us distract from the track we are on, making us feel the anxiety, making us stressed and at their last stage leading to depression, we are not at the mercy of these emotions, however we are the master of these, where all we have to do is changing the ingredients for them. But it is always easier said than done. But as they rightly say, nothing comes easy. It is not something we can change just with the snap of fingers, but is we take small steps towards it, one day we do can reach the stage of snapping the fingers to change the ingredients, just like Shree Krishna, whom we admire to be the most emotionally intelligent person of his era. Where he was actually capable of changing those ingredients with the snap of his fingers.

Because it is not about the outcome, it is about the journey. But what resists us to take that journey, may be the Responsibility.

As told in spiderman – with big powers comes the bigger responsibility. We all want to grow but are we ready for the responsibilities?

Gift of opportunity – Durga mata – emotions put at their best

Neelkanth - empathy towards life – emotions put at its best

Chapter: Unraveling the Threads of Emotional Intelligence in the Age of AI

“Madam Artificial Intelligence to suna tha, Ye Emotional Intelligence kya hai?”. In my recent visit to a college, when I entered the cabin of the Director, who was busy listening to the webinar on Artificial Intelligence asked me this question.

In the vast landscape of technological advancements, Artificial Intelligence (AI) has emerged as a silent observer, tirelessly striving to decipher the intricate web of human thoughts and emotions. Platforms like Facebook and Google, with their unyielding algorithms, endeavor to tailor suggestions and recommendations based on the subtle nuances of our moods and conversations. The relentless pursuit to understand the human psyche extends beyond mere content preferences; it delves into the realm of emotions, seeking to decode the very essence of our feelings.

The digital realm is now equipped with software capable of reading and interpreting our

emotions, or so it seems. Yet, beneath the surface lies a profound question – can emotions truly be accurately discerned? The data amassed on individuals' emotional behaviors appears more connected to the interpreter than the subject. Facial expressions, long believed to be windows to the soul, are not foolproof indicators of one's emotional state. Instead, they are shaped by the interpreter's experiences, rendering the analysis more reflective of the observer than the observed.

Amidst the sea of data-driven insights, one undeniable truth emerges – the intricacies of human emotions elude precise prediction. The sacred connection and synchronization of energies between a client and a coach, an intimate exchange beyond the grasp of AI, stand as a testament to the irreplaceable human touch in understanding emotions.

In contemplating the nature of emotions, one is compelled to question their authenticity. If emotions are but predictions and guesses, can we assert mastery over them? The notion that altering the ingredients of these emotional predictions can change the entire emotional landscape invites us to ponder our role in this intricate dance. Are we merely at the mercy of emotions, or do we wield the power to be their master?

Navigating through the spectrum of emotions, from distraction to anxiety and, at times, the abyss of depression, reveals that we are not passive recipients. Instead, we hold the reins, capable of steering our emotional course. The seemingly monumental task of changing emotional ingredients is not an overnight feat. It demands a gradual, deliberate journey, echoing the wisdom that nothing worthwhile comes easy.

Drawing inspiration from the tales of emotional intelligence, reminiscent of figures like Shree Krishna, who could, with a snap of his fingers, alter the emotional fabric of a moment, beckons us to aspire for higher emotional prowess. The journey, not the outcome, becomes the focal point, as we tread the path toward mastering our emotions.

Yet, a lingering obstacle stands in our way – the weight of responsibility. In the immortal words of Spiderman, "With great power comes great responsibility." The desire for growth and self-mastery necessitates a willingness to shoulder the responsibilities that accompany it. Are we ready to embrace the challenge, to metamorphose into the architects of our emotional destiny?

As we stand at the crossroads of technological marvels and human resilience, the chapter unfolds, urging us to ponder the delicate balance between the capabilities of AI and the indomitable spirit of human responsibility.
